Tim and I were visiting our daughter and son-in-law when Tim noticed an interesting book, Tribe of Mentors by Timothy Ferriss. This book is short life advice. The author sent out a list of 11 questions to 100-plus brilliant people. He was looking for direction and help in his own life. Once we returned home, I immediately ordered and read the 500-plus page book in a week.
What a brilliant idea! Tim and I began to wonder, what if we did the same for a book on marriage? What if we asked married couples questions that would share wisdom on how they got through the seasons of marriage, leading them to build a loving marriage that is gratifying, joyful, and full of love?
That seed was the first start into publishing a book, Tribe of Marriage Mentors. Today, it’s a seed, but with your input and wisdom for couples, it can come to fruition.
Can you imagine the gift that would be for those in the beginning season of marriage? Or how valuable it would be to hear about lessons learned from others who experienced a season of wilderness? What did others do when there was an elephant in the room, and when they were stuck not knowing how to discuss or move? Finally, sharing the gifts of the season of gratitude.
